22st INTERNATIONAL FRANKFURT TATTOO CONVENTION
April 11th - 13th, 2014
Location : Messe Frankfurt, Halle 5.0
Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 1, Frankfurt, 60327, GERMANY
I'm booking appointments right now on first come, first served basis.
Routine: I require a 10 hour minimum project size to be able to give you the quality work that you are intending to pay for. I do not do small 30 minute tattoos, that’s not my specialty. No exceptions, sorry! Not because I'm a cocky motherfu**er, it’s just unreasonable to pay exclusive laber for basic tattoo knowledge. You can get a small tattoo for a fraction of the price from a dude at the corner tattoo parlor, who is happy to do it. I am picking and choosing my clients and projects to be able to maintain the quality and uniqueness of my work. The reason is very simple. If the project doesn't inspire me, it will not be a signature piece. I like to keep my clients and myself occupied during the designing process. It is usually a mutual effort. I'm just the tool, don't forget it! If my mind doesn't get it, my hand can't do it! That's how simple it is.
I'm planning to visit Europe a few times annually in the future. The itinerary is as follows:
·· March 14th - 16th, 2014 Ink Explosion 5 - Mönchengladbach,Germany
This is so I will be able to proceed and possibly finish additional client's tattoos. For further details, please check my posted ON THE ROAD section.
This schedule makes me able to start his large scale, black & gray specialty work. The project could be broken down into 5-6 hours sessions. Bigger projects could run for multiple back to back days to make progress.
For example, a sleeve usually takes me 50-60 hours within a years’ time, with a local New York client, showing up once a month for 5 hours sessions. With my overseas clients, the length of the tattoo to completion will not change :-) and will hurt just as much. So, we start the sleeve project -let's say - during my Berlin visit; knock out 3 days in a row (5-6 hours work daily). Then, in March, we could do the same at the Frankfurt convention, then Berlin in August and London in September and everything could start over the following year. This is how it could be done.
